     Allie is Amanda Marrero’s sister and personal Editor in Chief, reading her writing before she sends it out for publication.

     She is a Harvard graduate and Fulbright winner from Long Island, NY. She is on her way to Boston, MA, returning to her alma mater for law school and to fulfill her dream of becoming a human rights attorney.

     Allie mostly writes articles and nonfiction, though she won an award for a fiction piece she wrote in high school and a story she wrote entirely in Brazilian Portuguese.

     She believes strongly in the power of words, written and spoken, and loves to read stories that are full of conviction, honesty, and strength.
